OUR PROJECT
E-learning in SAFE Schools
The Erasmus+ project entitled “E-learning in SAFE Schools”, coordinated by the Headmaster Dr. Maria Antonella Timpano and the Project Manager Eng. Dalila Oliva, brings together three international schools from Italy, Poland and Turkey, in order to exchange good practices on online learning made necessary during the pandemic, as well as to raise students’ awareness of the dangers and threats online.
Hence the need to educate students in the correct use of technology since they are of an age in which they are not yet fully aware of the risks that threaten virtual space (cyberbullying, extreme challenges, cybercrime, harassment, violations of privacy) and that they also have potential repercussions in the school environment.
The project offers schools the opportunity to work together, observe each other, share e-teaching experiences and skills, identify best practices and insert them into our schools so as to make e-learning more effective.
The Erasmus+ project includes two online meetings and three international meetings in school locations.
Thanks to the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, the schools have started a path of international cooperation with other European countries, in order to become ambassadors of European values and culture and create bridges between the students of the Institute and those from all over Europe.
